PET Bottle Label Scraping Machine/Label Remover
Fangtai offers two types of heat shrinkable (PVC) PET bottle label removers. One consists of a scraper and a blower with a capacity of up to 4,000 kg/h. The other is a compact device that removes labels by both scraping and blowing. The plastic bottle label remover machine is an indispensable recycling machine for PET bottle recycling, which can remove more than 95% of the labels of the entire plastic bottle. Once the labels are removed, the bottles can be fed into a plastic pelletizer to produce a cleaner stream of PET flakes.
The successful development of our plastic bottle label remover machine is a major advancement in how plastic recycling machines can recycle plastic bottles. Traditionally, whole plastic bottles are fed into plastic pelletizers with labels. The resulting PET flakes are mixed with shredded labels and caps. Since it is more difficult to remove these small contaminants once the plastic is mixed, it is more effective to remove the plastic labels at the beginning of the recycling process.

Working Principle
Inside the plastic bottle remover machine is a sharp, tough alloy serrated knife that cuts and peels labels from plastic bottles. These special claw-shaped knives are welded from copper to fast-spinning spindles at specific angles to push the bottle forward. When the labels are cut off, they are blown into the collection trough.
To increase the cleaning of plastic bottles, we offer a wet plastic bottle label remover that works in a similar fashion. Instead of blowing the labels away to collect, spray the labels with water.
The knives inside this machine can be easily removed, sharpened and replaced for optimum performance.
