What is Kudzu root extract?
Kudzu root extract is a powdery extract extracted from the dried roots of the legume kudzu. Its main active ingredients are isoflavone derivatives (puerarin, daidzin, daidzein, and genistein). The flavonoids in Pueraria can lower vascular resistance and improve blood flow to the heart and brain. Its daidzein component has an antispasmodic effect, can lower blood sugar, and has antipyretic and estrogen-like functions.
