Safety Clamps
Safety Clamps are the essential hold-up device for drilling string and drill tools. When adjusting the working range, it only needs to reassemble connecting pins and split pins of chain links. Safety clamps are the tools for handling flush joint pipes and drill collars, Safety Clamps type WA-C can accommodate pipe from 3 1/2”(88.9mm) to 15 5/8”(396.9mm) O.D.; Safety Clamps type WA-T can accommodate pipe from 1 1/8”(28.6mm) to 4 1/2”(114.3mm) O.D.; Safety Clamps type MP are also necessary tools for handling drill collars, flush joint pipes and small shoulder pipes range from 2 7/8” to 30 1/2”. They all are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K.
