Working Principle:
High voltage insulation testers apply a controlled high voltage (typically between 1kV and 100kV) across an insulating material and measure the leakage current. The measured insulation resistance indicates whether the insulation is intact or degraded. In withstand voltage mode, the tester checks whether the insulation can sustain a high voltage for a specified duration without breakdown.
