Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC for short) is an important chemical and building material additive obtained by chemical modification of natural cellulose, which has a variety of excellent physical and chemical properties and application characteristics.
The main properties of HPMCare as follows.
Good solubility: HPMC has good solubility and swelling in water, which can be fully dispersed and dissolved in cement-based, lime-based, gypsum-based and other cement-based materials, increasing the fluidity and processability of the materials.
Good viscosity adjustment ability: The viscosity of HPMC can be adjusted according to different production processes and application requirements, which can control its fluidity and processability in cement-based materials, and also improve its crack resistance and durability.
