Copper core aluminum core XLPE insulated PVC sheathed powerand mainline cables. Copper cross-linked polyethylene power cables are suitable for fixed installations in distribution networks or industrial equipment with rated voltages of 1.8/3kV, 3.6/6kV, 6/10kV, 8.7/15kV, 12/20kV and below.
The Medium Voltage XLPE Power Cable (6kV-20kV range) is engineered for reliable and efficient power transmission in medium-voltage distribution systems. It is widely utilized in industrial substations, utility networks, renewable energy plants, and critical infrastructure power grids.
By utilizing advanced XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation through a triple-layer extrusion process, this Low Voltage Power Cable ensures excellent dielectric strength, superior thermal stability, and an extended service life under continuous electrical load. Conductor: Number of conductors 1 or 3. The conductors shall comply with the requirement given in IEC.
Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) according to IEC.
Sheath: PVC (Polyaluminium Chloride) according to IEC.
Metal Screen: Copper Tape Screen.
Characteristics:
Conductor Temperature: Maximum conductor temperature in normal use: 90°C.
Installation Temperature: Ambient temperature under installation shall not be below 0°C.
Minimum Bending Radius: For Three Core Cable: ≥15D. For Single Core Cable: ≥20D. (D = Diameter of cable)
