Octagon Light Guide Rod
1, Non-uniform light source can be homogenized.
2, The pupil is octagon.
3, Can be used to build lighting systems.
Description of octagon based prism
Octagonal rodadopts total reflection, which can transform non-uniform light source into uniform light. Regular octagonal optical prism also makes the lighting more uniform. In the design system, light guide rods of various lengths can be used. The higher the numerical aperture NA value is, the shorter the length of light guide rod is required. It is enough to make the output light uniform.
