The classic high-speed parallel Bat-C delta robot is a sort of three axis robot, and its configuration is characterized by translational motion along the axis X, Y and Z in three-dimensional space and rotary motion around the axis-Z. With the combination of high-precision machine vision system, Bat-C delta robot, also known as 3 axis pick and place robot, is suitable for high-speed production operations in food, medicine and other industries, and is mainly used for assembly, handling and sorting of light, small and scattered materials.

3-Axis Robot Arm Design

Designed by the Robotphoenix team, the rotary axes of 3-axis robot in a robot mark as axis X, Y and Z. The front direction is the positive direction of axis-X, which is red. The left side is the positive direction of axis-Y, shown in green. The upward side is the positive direction of axis-Z, which is shown in blue.

For an easy memorization, axis-X can be regarded as the index finger, axis-Y the middle finger and axis-Z the thumb. The order of the robotic machinery is X, Y and Z, and the color order is RGB. The direction of rotation of the three aixs robot follows the right-hand rule, and the rolling direction of the right hand is the positive direction.
