Titanium Dioxide TiO2 In Plastics & Masterbatch
The plastics industry is the second largest user of titanium dioxide and the fastest growing field in recent years, with an average annual growth rate of 6%. Among those more than 500 titanium dioxide brands in the world, more than 50 brands belong to plastics.
Titanium dioxide used in plasticfeatures high covering power, high reducing power and other pigment properties. In addition, it can improve the heat resistance, light resistance, weather resistance of plastic products to prevent it harmed from UV light attack, improve the mechanical properties and electrical properties of plastic products.

The titanium dioxide for plastic is used in almost all thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics, such as polyolefin (mainly low-density polyethylene), polystyrene, ABS, polyvinyl chloride, etc., it can be mixed with resin dry powder, a liquid containing plasticizer, and also titanium dioxide is processed into color masterbatch before use in some other conditions.
