Acicular Wollastonite Powder Description:
Wollastonite is a naturally occurring, calcium metasilicate (CaSiO3), white, non-metallic mineral with an acicular particle shape.Its unique chemistry and acicular (needle-shaped) physical structure make it one of the world’s most versatile and effective value-added performance materials. Due to the mineral's acicular struture,products have improved physical properties and durability. It's high melting point gives execellent thermal stability in coatings , ceramics and other applications.The high PH and low solubility of wollastonite aid paint stability. Benefits&Applications: Our acicular wollastonite powder with high aspect ratio are processed with advanced technics and equipments, Since the products have high aspect ratio, good reinforcement and sealing property, they are used to replace asbestos, fiber talc, glass fiber. These series products also are used in high polymer engineering plastics, special plastics and chemical industry, friction materials, building materials and so on .
