Introduction
Zinc-rich primer powder coatings are based on pure polyester resin and use ultra-fine zinc powder as the main anti-corrosion pigment, preventing the formation of zinc salts. This zinc-rich primer offers excellent cathodic protection, superior corrosion resistance, strong adhesion, good impact and abrasion resistance, and high adhesion. It exhibits excellent adhesion to sandblasted steel. Customized zinc-rich primers with different weather resistance requirements can be manufactured according to customer specifications.
Application
Zinc-rich primer powder coatings are suitable for various substrates, including shot-blasted steel and hot-dip galvanized substrates. They are used for corrosion protection of steel surfaces in demanding outdoor applications such as fitness trails, steel structures, and ships.

Note: Substrate and pretreatment: Mechanical performance tests were conducted using 0.6mm thick degreased cold-rolled steel plates; corrosion and aging resistance tests were conducted using 0.6mm thick zinc phosphated steel plates or chromated aluminum plates.
