Hereditary testingof 18 Hereditary Cancer Applicable Population

Patients with tumors, especially those with tumors diagnosed at an unusually young age, or those with tumors that occur on both sides of paired organs (eg, kidneys, breasts).

People with a family history of cancer, especially if multiple close relatives have the same type of cancer (eg, mother, daughter, sister with breast cancer).

Patients with birth defects associated with hereditary tumor syndromes, such as certain benign skin abnormalities or skeletal deformities.
