With compliance to NSF61,Center Enamel’s standard range of water storage tanks for fire protection are available in 20steres to20,000steresand meets internationalwater tank design standards.
Glass-Fused-to-Steeltanks are made from individual sections that have been manufactured and finished in a controlled factory setting. This allows each section to be formed according to strict structural specifications, with quality bends, welds and surface preparations that are monitored with comprehensive quality control measures. Once the sections are complete, they are powder-coated in a tightly-controlled environment, which results in a durable finish that virtually eliminates corrosion and maintenance issues; unlike field-welded tanks, which must be finished at the installation site, often resulting in an imperfect and inconsistent finished coating that is susceptible to corrosion and other damage.
Glass-Fused-to-Steeltanks are created with superior materials that meet AWWA, NFPA,and FM Global standards, resulting in a long-lasting, durable product. They offer lifespans that are similar to, or longer than, concrete or welded tanks. Unlike competing products, they can easily be repaired by unbolting the damaged section, replacing it and installing new gaskets and fasteners.
