Key Features:
Dead-ending of round drop cable on poles and buildings.
Suspension of drop cable at intermediate poles by using 2 drop clamps.
Capacity: Ø 2 to 6mm round cables.
Min. failing load : 180 daN
Its unique patented design allows the dead-ending of the cable without any radial pressure on the cable outer sheath and on the fibers. This provides an extra protection of the drop cable.
This ftth clamp produces with high strength and toughness UV resistance plastic. This clamp no need tools when installation and don’t damage cable.
High strength and toughness materials, guarantee long service life, and it can attach to the pole brackets and hooks. All the accessories for FTTH lines can be provided by FOCA.
All the FTTH clamps passed the lab test, such as temperature and humidity test, tensile strength test, aging test, corrosion resistance test etc.
Installation:
The cable span end is introduced in the clamp at point A. The cable roll up is carried out around the mandrel clockwise until the full width of the mandrel is covered (3 full turns in case of a Ø 4mm drop cable). The drop cable exits the clamp through B. The cable section after that point is free of any load and can be connected to the wall distribution box or installed in the next drop clamp in case of double dead-ending.
Adjusting the load on the span side is easily achieved by simultaneously pulling by hand the cable at A and B following the arrows.
