Anemarrhena rhizome, scientifically known as Anemarrhena asphodeloides, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to East Asia, particularly China and Korea. The rhizome, or underground stem, of the Anemarrhena plant has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese and Korean medicine for its various medicinal properties.
