The Role of Micro-Powder Wax in Leather Processing
Improving Hand Feel: It significantly reduces the coefficient of friction on the leather surface, providing a smooth and soft feel, and is widely used in upholstery leather, garment leather, and shoe upper leather.
Enhancing Surface Properties: It improves the abrasion and scratch resistance of the coating, prevents inter-layer adhesion, and enhances the leather’s water resistance, making it suitable for luggage and shoe leathers.
Creating Special Visual Effects: When used on distressed-style leathers such as “Crazy Horse,” it can produce a polished, color-changing effect through buffing; the gloss level of the coating can also be adjusted as needed to achieve a matte or high-gloss finish.
