FIBER OPTICAL COMPONENTS
As the Chinese mainland's first fiber optic component manufacturers, T&S has 20 years of production history and has the ability to produce from the powder to ferrule blank to the whole process of processing technology and equipment with independent property rights. As the main standard maker of the Chinese mainland ceramic ferrule industry, it has been leading the development of advanced technology of optical communication components. With the continuous expansion of the product line, other optical communication basic components including MT ferrule, PLC wafer, and chip are gradually added to the T & s production sequence.
Standard Ceramic Ferrule
What is a ceramic ferrule?
Ferruleplays a significant role in Fiber Connectors as well as Fiber Patchcord. With the characteristics of low insertion loss required for optical transmission, a low value in elasticity coefficient, excellent strength and high resistance to changeable environments, the ceramic ferruleis usually used in optical connectors.
Having the high durability and the highest levels of dimensional control, this kind of optical ferrules are available to all fiber applications designated in TIA/EIA-568-B.1 cabling architecture standards.Ceramic ferrule, which is essentially zirconia materials, owns brilliant control over the size. This kind offiber optic ferrules enables efficient polishing with greater repeatable geometry and a finer surface finish. Proper fiber alignment in zirconia ceramic ferrules is assured through state-of-the-art precision molding/machining of the ferrule to ensure full contact of fiber ends.
Non-standard Ferrule
T&S Communications provides a variety of single-mode and multi-mode non-standard ceramic ferrules with pre domed and pre-angled end-face configurations for fast polishing.
Our highly precision production process is dedicatedly designed for customized ferrule designs. A wide variety of IDs and tolerances are available. Customized lengths, inner and outer diameters are available at T&S.
Fiber Stub
Fiber Stub is a ceramic (zirconia) capillary assembled with optical fiber. It is the most important component when connecting receptacle Modules such as TOSA and ROSA assemblies. Fiber stubs are fitted into the receptacle modules to achieve a stable connection with the fiber stub and fiber connectors when the two mates in the receptacle.T&S Communications Fiber Stubs are manufactured with high-quality ceramic ferrules. They usually be polished with PC or APC end-face. Standard diameters are 1.25mm or 2.5 mm, and other sizes may also be available.T&S Communicationsprovides high quality and reliable fiber stub for TOSA/ROSA Receptacle. We have a proven polishing process using specially designed high precision machines. With an experienced manufacturing process, T&S Communications fiber stub delivers the highest performance and lowest defect rate.
MT Ferrule
The MT ferrule is a multi-fiber, plastic ferrule with a square end-face of 6.4x2.5 mm and fiber pitch 0.25mm, widely applied in MPO connectors and AOC cables. 12 and 24-fiber MT ferrules are the most commonly used types.
PLC Wafer
As an experiencedplc splitter factory, T&S offers PLC splitter wafers as well. Based on Planar Lightwave Circuit technologies, PLC splitter wafers are produced on the quartz substrate through a series of processes including CVD deposition, photo-masking, etching, etc. PLC splitter wafers can be designed for 1x2, 1x4, 1x8, 1x16, 1x32, 1x64 and 2xN. Splitter chips with high yield, quality and reliability, are made of PLC wafers through dicing and polishing.
PLC Chip
As a professional plc splitter manufacturer, T&S provides a wide range of different fiber optic components at reasonable prices.Based on Planar Lightwave Circuit technologies, our PLC splitter chips can uniformly divide and guide light in the wavelength ranges from 1260nm to 1650nm. With low insertion loss (IL), low Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL) and high reliability, T&SPLC chipshave been widely used in FTTx and other optical communication systems.
