The electric probe senses the contact with the metal workpiece through its conductivity,when the stylus touches the surface, the LED indicator lights up. Application of EP40 Electrical Probe
EP40 is used to measure solid workpieces with conductive properties; such as aluminum workpiece, stainless steel workpiece.
Direct measurement of steps, slots, external features, and contours of workpiece datum surfaces or edges.
EP40 straight shank can used with different kinds of taper shank in different kinds of machine tools.
