The engineering method - hollow steel bar for civil work

The construction of is a kind of secret engineering method and the anchoring quality of conventional hollow bar is mainly controlled by design,installation,tentative and inspection and so on.

The test is about the quality of material of hollow steel bar and the tension force of hollow bar.Sometimes the inspection rate of qualified
hollow steel bar is often only 1%-3%.According to the recent study of authority,which shows that the bond length of anchor bolt is up to 42
times longer than the diameter of hollow bar,and this is the maximum number that the common hollow bar can reach.

As a result,the installation conditions of hollow steel bar can not be completely and objectively reflected by a single tension test
especially about the density of hollow steel bar.

With the wide utilization of hollow steel bar in construction,the tension test of hollow steel bar is obviously can not meet the demands in
the supporting project of mine,tunnel,slope,foundation,wharf,railway station and other engineering constructions.

In accordance with the regulations,the length of hollow bar should be designed as required and the denseness of hollow bar should not be less
than 75%.
