As one of the most important functions of vehicle video surveillance equipment, the capability of audio and video codec is one of the key competencies of a vehicle digital video recorder. On this point, there is no essential difference between the vehicle video recorder and the ordinary video recorder. They both choose the mainstream video codec chip and adopt the mainstream codec format to find the maximum harmony between coding efficiency and image definition.
