Spiral Vibration Damper
are motion-control products designed to eliminate wind vibration that can occur across a cable span. Made of weather and corrosion resistant plastic, these transmission line vibration dampers have large spiral shaped vibration dampening sections that fit the size of the cable. A smaller clamping section gently grips the conductor. Using the recommended number of spiral dampers minimizes bending strain and protects the cable from long-term fatigue caused by breeze vibration.
Features
Covers cable diameters from 9.1 mm to 21.0 mm, making the FL Series suitable for a broad range of OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) and ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable installations.
Designed to reduce wind-induced vibrations and extend the service life of cables and accessories by minimizing mechanical fatigue.
All models feature a 300 mm grip length, ensuring uniform installation and strong holding force without damaging the cable surface.
Available in two total lengths (1350 mm and 1500 mm), the FL Series offers optimized vibration damping performance based on cable size and installation needs.
Each damper weighs less than 0.6 kg, making it lightweight for tower-top installation while maintaining strong structural integrity.
Made from high-quality aluminum alloy or galvanized steel (specify on your site), ensuring long-term durability in outdoor environments.
