Product Description
Sulfonated melamine formaldehyde (SMF) is a Sulfonated Melamine Superplasticizer polymer used in cements and plaster based formulations to reduce water content, while increasing the fluidity and the workability of the mix. In concretes, addition of SMF in an appropriate mix design results in lower porosity, higher mechanical strength, and an improved resistance to aggressive environments.

Sulfonated melamine formaldehyde (SMF) is used as an additive in all types of grouts, mortars, and as a component of concrete admixtures. Powdered superplasticizer is a spray dried powder with free flowing characteristics ideal for dry blending and water dissolution.
(SMF) is also an anionic polymeric dispersant that deflocculates the particle agglomerations that form when cement and water are combined. Dispersion of the cement causes a reduction in the plastic viscosity of the cement paste which results in improved workability and decrease the water cement ratio.
