EAS bottle liquor security tagswork by using electromagnetic technology. They consist of a small antenna and a tag or label that contains a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip. The antenna emits a signal that activates the RFID chip, causing it to transmit a unique code back to the antenna. If the bottle with the tag attached passes through the EAS detection system at the store exit, the system will recognize the code and trigger an alarm.
