Each dichroic beam splitter cubecomsists of a pair of percision high tolerance right angle prisms cemented together with a dielectric beam splitter coatingon the hypotenuse of one of prisms.

Polarizing Cube dichroic beamsplitterssplit randomly polarized beams into two orthogonal, linearly, polarized components, S-polarized light is reflected at 90° while P-polarized light is transmitted.
