Voltage switch type SPD

Three phase surge protector: A three-phase power system is a multiphase system that uses at least three "hot" conductors to transmit three different independent AC currents. Due to the offset characteristics of the three-phase power signal, these changes are minimized, thus improving the efficiency of the system. Due to the load balance, the three-phase power supply reduces the vibration of the generator and motor, and minimizes or eliminates the neutral line. The three-phase power system can create and control the rotating magnetic field, which simplifies the motor design. When the manufacturer believes that there is a risk of load imbalance, a fourth neutral wire is usually added.
How does a surge protection system work?
The lightning surge protectorconsists of five parts: discharge gap, inflatable discharge tube, varistor, suppression diode and choke coil, which includes at least one nonlinear voltage limiting element. The following is how each component of spd power supply works.

- Choke coil. The choke coil is a common-mode interference suppression device with ferrite as the magnetic core. it is symmetrically wound on the same ferrite annular core by two coils of the same size and the same number of turns to form a four-terminal device. it has a large inductance for the common-mode signal, but has little effect on the leakage inductance for the differential-mode signal.
