Hanbon medium and high pressure pilot scale chromatography columninclude DAC（dynamic axial compression）columns and laboratory columns. In 2005, Hanbon developed DAC® (dynamic axial compression) column with independent intellectual property rights, and has built the world's largest production and assembly workshop for dynamic axial compression columns. The product has been continuously upgraded and has been recognized by domestic and international markets, and is exported to more than 20 countries such as India, South Korea, Norway, Hungary, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Russia. Hanbon provides users with a dynamic axial compression column with an inner diameter range from 50mm to 2000mm, providing customized services. Laboratory chromatographic column include conventional high-performance liquid chromatography columns, spring columns, dynamic axial compression columns, and multifunctional axial compression columns.
How Do I Choose A Suitable Preparative Column?
Step 1: Choose the right packing material.
The smaller the particle size the higher the column efficiency, but the higher the price and the higher the column pressure, requiring higher pressure tolerance in the equipment hardware.
Step 2: Choose the right bonding phase and pore size.
How to choose the right carbon content and particle size according to the molecular weight of the substance is a very important issue.
Step 3: Selecting the right column tube.
The sample is to be served in proportion to the cross-sectional area of the column. The inner diameter of the column is to be selected to suit the sample serving size.
Step 4: Determine the appropriate flow rate and loading volume
The flow rate of the prepared column: generally proportional to the square of the diameter.
Sample loading volume: a combination of purification time, solvent usage, efficiency of the column and sample purity.
Technical Advantages Of DAC
DAC columns are controlled by dynamic axial compression, which enables dynamic pressure retention and prevents collapse of the column head, loss of column efficiency and poor reproducibility, etc. If a DAC column loses efficiency after prolonged use, the packing can be pushed out after removal of the column, and the column can be homogenized and loaded again. The whole reloading process is not difficult and takes about 1-2H.
