How do we disinfect our aquaculture facilities?
Aquatic disinfectant: refers to the use of chemicals or other methods to eliminate most of the microorganisms and reduce the number of common pathogenic bacteria to a safe level.
Which chemical is used to clean the water tank?
The commonly used disinfectants for fish ponds include bleaching powder, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, trichloroisocyanuric acid and chlorine dioxide. It can be disinfected with quicklime slurry or bleaching powder alone, or mixed together to disinfect. You can also use salt, sprinkle and soak the whole fish pond with potassium permanganate solution or quicklime water, then rinse it with tap water and expose it to the sun for several hours. Then rinse it with tap water carefully.
How are ponds and tanks disinfected?
The chlorine content in the bleaching powder is relatively high, and the chlorine element chemically reacts with water and produces a variety of chemical substances such as hypochlorous acid. Then the oxygen released by these chemicals has a very obvious bactericidal effect. In addition, before using bleaching powder, the amount of bleaching powder should be controlled according to the area of the pond, and the bleaching powder should be evenly sprayed into the pond.
