PDMS is a colorless transparent polydimethylsiloxane siliconewhich has good insulation, high water resistance, high speed shear resistance, high compressibility, high dispersion, low surface tension, low reactivity, low steam pressure, good thermal stability and good levelling. It can be dissolved in most solvents and it has good compatibility with most cosmetic ingredients. PDMS 1.5cst is a low viscosity, volatile polydimethylsiloxane. Due to its good dispersion property and unique volatility, it is often used as a basic liquid or volatile carrier in personal care products, especially antiperspirant, deodorant, etc. Based on the latest EU regulations and market demand, volatile silicone oil,1.5cSt can replace D5. This product has excellent characteristics such as unique volatility, very low surface tension, easy spreading and good formula compatibility, etc., that making it an ideal substitute for D5.

Application Field of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) 1.5cst

This product can be used in personal care products, such as hair sprays, facial cleansers, moisturizers, lotions, bath oils, nail polishes, antiperspirants and deodorants.

It can also be used as cleaning agent in industry, such as glass bottle and lens coating, household product composition, mechanical oil, permeable oil composition and so on.

Also it can be used as capping agent of silicone rubber, silicone oil and others. The specific amount of additive is determined according to the formula test.
