Quench oil tower inhibitor STD-11
STD-11 quench oil tower inhibitor is a highly efficient inhibitor with an antioxidant effect. It can reduce, prevent and remove the free radicals and polymers formed by chain growth of unsaturated aromatic hydrocarbons under the action of trace oxygen, light, heat and metal ions. It has a dispersing and purifying effect on the small amount of polymers generated, so that the polymers are dispersed in the medium and flow away to prevent equipment clogging. At the same time, it also has the function of passivating metals. This additive is mainly used for scaling of quench oil tower systems, prolonging the operating life of quench oil tower systems, and ensuring the normal production of ethylene units.
Properties
This additive has the appearance of a red oily liquid, is alkaline, and is irritating to the human body.
Uses
This additive is specifically used for the quench oil tower system of ethylene units to reduce, prevent and remove the scaling of the system
Precautions
1. Injection amount: The injection amount is generally 30ppm-100ppm (based on product). You can first add 100ppm and run for 7 days, and then gradually reduce it to 30ppm-50ppm. Keep uniform and continuous injection.
2. Addition method: This additive can be directly added to the system with a plunger metering pump, or it can be diluted with a solvent to a certain concentration of solution as needed.
Packaging
This additive is packaged in a plastic barrel with a net weight of 160 ± 0.5 kg.
Safety protection
Store in a cool and low temperature place, avoid contact with fire or heat sources. In case of fire, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
