The stripping tower defoamer STD-10E
The stripping tower defoamer STD-10E has very low surface tension, excellent anti-foaming performance and rapid defoaming performance, and can be used in a wide range of pH values. It can be dissolved in the foaming medium and can be evenly dispersed in the foam medium, making the surface tension of the foam system unbalanced and destroying the surface viscosity and surface elasticity of the foaming system. It is miscible with water and does not contain heavy metals and halogen elements.
Properties
The appearance of this additive is a colorless or yellow liquid that is irritating and corrosive to the human body, has good thermal stability, and does not contain metals and halogen elements.
Uses
This additive is used for defoaming in stripping towers in ethylene plants.
Notes
1. The general addition concentration is 5~50μg/g (based on the product). You can add 50ppm first, reduce it to 30ppm after running for 48 hours, observe the defoaming effect, and determine the best addition amount;
2. Adding location: on the feed line of the process water stripping tower or determined according to the defoaming requirements to ensure that the additive and the medium are fully mixed;
3. This additive is continuously and evenly injected at room temperature or on-site temperature with a metering pump. If necessary, it can also be diluted with water to a certain concentration before use;
4. The defoaming efficiency of this additive is generally greater than 90% (compared with the standard sample), but it must be compared at least 24 hours after injection. If compared in advance, the wrong conclusion will be obtained.
Packaging
This additive is packaged in plastic barrels with a net weight of 200 ± 0.5 kg or according to user needs.
Safety protection
Store in a cool and low-temperature place to avoid contact with fire or heat sources. In case of fire, dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher can be used to extinguish the fire.
