N-Isopropylhydroxylamine is an organic compound with the chemical formula C3H9ON. It belongs to the secondary alkyl hydroxylamine class and possesses the properties of a polymerization inhibitor and a chain terminator. It is used as a polymerization inhibitor and chain terminator in the production of styrene-butadiene rubber and nitrile rubber, and also serves as a deoxidizer for removing dissolved oxygen in the water supply system of thermal power plants.
