Usage: Adrenergic receptor to hormone. For the adrenergic receptor α, β-receptor stimulants. But the main role of α-receptors, compared with epinephrine, the contraction of blood vessels and boost the role of strong and heart rate caused by reflex, but stimulate the heart, bronchodilators are less effective. Mainly used in anti-shock, as aresult of anesthesia induced shock, toxic shock, cardiac shock.



2.Description:

Noradrenaline bitartrate belongs to category of sympathomimetics drugs. Noradrenaline bitartrate is atype of adrenergic agents. Noradrenaline is asympathomimetic amine, which acts predominantly by adirect effect on alpha-adrenergic receptors. The drug also directly stimulates the beta adrenergic receptors of the heart (beta1-adrenergic receptors), but not those of the bronchi (beta2-adrenergic receptors).

Norepinephrine bitartrate is supplied in sterile aqueous solution in the form of the bitartrate salt to be administered by intravenous infusion following dilution. Norepinephrine is sparingly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in alcohol and ether, and readily soluble in acids. Each mL contains the equivalent of 1mg base of norepinephrine, sodium chloride for isotonicity, and not more than 0.2 mg of sodium metabisulfite as an antioxidant. It has apH of 3to 4.5. The air in the vials has been displaced by nitrogen gas.

Norepinephrine bitartrate as an adjunct in the treatment of cardiac arrest and profound hypotension.
