Definetion: 3R,4S,5S,6R,7R,9R,11R,12R,13S,14R)-4-[(2,6-dideoxy-3-C-methyl-3-O-met-hyl-a-Lribohexopyranosyl)oxy]-14-etthyl-7,12,13-trihydroxy-3,5,7,9,11,13-hexamethyl-6- [3,4,6-trideoxy-3-(dimethylamino)-2-O-(4-ethoxy-4-oxobutanoyl)-β-Dxylo-hexopyranosyl]oxy]ox acyclotetradecane-10-dionelerythromycin A ethylsuccinate);
CHARACTERS: Appearance:white,crystalline powder,hygroscopic.
Solubility:practically insoluble ni water,freely soluble in acetone,in ethanol and in methanol.
FUNCTION: As a substitute drugfor penicillin hypersentive patients, it can be used to treet acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis and nasal sinusitis caused by streptococcus hemolytic and streptococcus pnermoniae; phenicin and cellulites caused by streptococcus hemolytic; diphteria; gas gangrane, anthrax and tetanus;syphilis and so on.
