Laminated glass offers a variety of design options: the PVB interlayer can be clear, tinted, or custom printed; the glass can be flat or curved. Laminated glass offers a significant benefit over monolithic glass used in railings; namely, the PVB interlayers retain glass fragments and keep the glass intact if breakage occurs. The benefits of using MIGO laminated glass as glass railings/balustrades:●Permanent protection from falling glass. The downside to monolithic tempered glass is glass fall-out after breakage. Falling glass can cause serious injuries to people below, laminated glass fragments will adhere to the middle layer, avoiding glass particles scattering and falling down. ●No glass falling makes it possible to design a walkway below the laminated glass railings.●Glass surfaces are durable-no yellowing, cracking, or crazing.●Unobstructed vision onto playing field. The metal top cap and handrail have been eliminated in some of these systems to afford spectators an unobstructed view onto the playing field.●Glass railings in shopping malls and airports create an open feeling on the inside of a large public space.
