How does a sliding gate optical turnstile works?
Sliding gate optical turnstile is equipped with sliding flaps closed strait horizontally which operate in two-directional movements. When closed, the sliding flaps meet each other to form a barrier between restricted area and public area. When opened, the wings fully retract into the cabinet, creating free passage. It is supplied with infrared sensor to ensure that only one person enters for each authorized credential at one time. The pedestrians shows their valid credential before entry, the optical sliding turnstile will open for free access. Closure takes place immediately after passage or after and adjustable holding-open time, preventing unauthorized passage or tailgating. The opening time and closing time can be progranned depened on the height of the sliding faps. In case of power failure of in emergency, the obstacles can be unlocked with a simple push to automatically open.
