Duplex Service Drop Wire
Duplex service drop wireor duplex service drop cable, has two electrodes that are laid out in a concentric thread. One is bare and acts as a neutral conductor, Anoher one is an insulated phase electrode. The neutral messengers are concentrically stranded AAC, AAAC, or ACSR. The phase conductors are concentrically stranded compressed 1350-H19 AAC and insulated PVC or XLPE.
Utilized mostly for 120 volt overhead service applications such temporary construction service and outdoor illumination. To be utilized with conductor temperatures no more than 75°C for conductors insulated with polyethylene or 90°C for conductors insulated with crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) and a phase-to-phase voltage of no more than 600 volts.

Its construction is the same as that of quadruplex overhead wire. Phase conductor: AAC, neutral messengers: AAC or AAAC or ACSR, Insulation:PE or XLPE
STANDARD
Just like triplex overhead wire for sale, the standard of duplex service drop wire is ASTM B230, B231, B232 and B-399 ,B498,ICEA S-76-474.
Application
This sort of overhead insulated cableis used for street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporary service for construction etc.
