Shielding Screen for Laboratory Radiation Shielding

Shielding screenhas outstanding resistance to the radiation, static and electromagnetism, so they are widely used in the commercial, industrial, military and laboratory. The shielding screen has outstanding shielding performance to the RFI and EMI. The RFI refers to radio frequency interference and the EMI refers to electromagnetic interference.

Shielding material

Shielding screen is mainly made of stainless steel wire and copper wire.
Stainless steel. The stainless steel is mainly for the SUS 316.
Copper. The copper is mainly the pure copper, also it is called red copper. The red copper has 99.98% copper. It is very soft, so it is easy to cut and form.

Shielding screen weaving method

The weaving method of the shielding screen is plain weave, which is used for the majority of the woven wire cloth. Each warp wire crosses above and below each weft wire. And each weft wire crosses above and below each warp wire.

Shielding screen application

Shielding screen mesh is widely used to protect key equipment from RFI and EMI. The earliest example of this is Faraday cage.

• The shielding screen mesh can be used in the laboratory for the electrophysiology, confocal microscopy to protect against static and electromagnetic waves.
• The shielding screen can be used for the military to protect battlefield tactic system, communication system and computers.
• The shielding screen can be used for the industry purpose to protect test chambers, computer rooms and indeed recording rooms.
• The shielding is also used in many public information displays such as airport display boards as well as rail and bus terminals.
• Other applications include telecommunications, test measurement equipment, navigation, medical and radar applications.
• Some peoples will do the Faraday cage by themselves to prevent the radiation from the Wi-Fi and other places.
