Double Sided PTFE Tape IntroductionsDouble sided PTFE tape (double sided teflon tape) is with high-performance acrylic adhesive on both sides with poly-coated craft paper liner and structured by skived PTFE film which is very thin and flexible. The tape is a kind of adhesive transfer tape that has excellent high-temperature resistance from -40 ~ +170°C as well as humidity, chemicals, solvents and UV rays resistance. Water has no effect on bonding strength, and its adhesion strength remains for short period in temperature up to 400°F (204°C) and for longer periods in heat up to 338°F (170°C).Double sided PTFE tape is used between two surfaces for bonding or laminating and also used to assemble, mount, or bond two components together to replace liquid resin adhesives, hot melt adhesives and eliminate the need for mechanical fasteners, therefore reduce assembly and production costs.Double Sided PTFE Tape DetailsApplications of double sided PTFE tape includeBonding of graphic nameplates to metal and energy plastics in the aerospace, medical, automotive and electronics markets.Bonding graphic overlays for membrane switches.High speed processing of parts in the medical, telecommunications and electronics markets.Lamination to industrial foams for rotary die-cutting of small gaskets in electronics industry.
