The exact formula for this unique blend of ingredients still remains a secret but is used in the formation of many cocktails.
Produced since 1874, Southern Comfort is an iconic brand created by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron in New Orleans, Louisiana and was introduced as an alternative to the harsh whiskies from Tennessee and Kentucky. Recognising he’d stumbled across a winner, he labelled each bottle with the phrase ‘None Genuine but Mine’.
