Respirator Fit Tester
Application
The PortaCount Respirator Fit Tester is suitable for fit and integrity testing across the following industries and products:
(1) Military and Defense: CBRN gas masks, full-face respirators — overall fit and protection factor assessment
(2) Occupational Safety: commercial respirators, industrial dust masks, half-face and full-face respirators — fit testing and leak detection
(3) Medical and Healthcare Industry: surgical masks, N95/FFP masks, medical respirators — quantitative fit evaluation
(4) Research and Development: development of new respirator models and harness designs, optimization of fit and seal
(5) Quality Control: production batch verification, ensuring proper mask fit for various models and sizes
(6) Third-Party Testing Laboratories: certification testing, evaluation of mask protection factor, exhalation valve and drink tube performance
The instrument is widely used for product development, R&D, production quality control, and laboratory fit testing.
