The Multiplex Sand/Wheel Abrasion Tester is a floor-standing abrasion testing system designed for evaluating material wear resistance under dry sand and wet slurry conditions. It supports standardized test methods including ASTM G65, ASTM G105, and ASTM B611. By applying controlled normal load and wheel speed, you can accurately assess abrasive wear behavior of metals, cemented carbides, coatings, and other engineering materials.
Application
You can use this tester for:
(1) Dry sand rubber wheel abrasion testing of metallic and non-metallic materials according to ASTM G65;
(2) Wet sand and slurry abrasion testing using rubber or steel wheels in accordance with ASTM G105;
(3) Abrasive wear resistance evaluation of cemented carbides following ASTM B611;
(4) Comparative wear performance studies of coatings, surface treatments, and bulk materials;
(5) Research and quality control testing in materials science, mining, metallurgy, and manufacturing laboratories.
