There are not too many slewing bearings without gear in our normal order. Some customers require that the slewing bearing without teeth must have a preload. In order to meet the needs of customers, our technicians have developed the preloaded slewing bearing production process and measuring process successfully.

In general, it relies on the axial displacement between the inner and outer small slewing ringof the bearing to eliminate part or all of the clearance to achieve preload. How do slewing bearing manufacturers measure preload?

The method slew ring bearing manufacturersuse is the starting torque method: measure the starting tangential force with a tension meter, and calculate the starting torque. After the torque is obtained, the preload is estimated by the relationship between the starting torque and the preload.

Slewing Bearing Without Gear Application

SWBTEC slewing bearing without gear is widely used in JIB cranes. JIB crane is an industrial component and is a light-duty crane with light working strength. It consists of a column, a slewing arm, a slewing drive device, and an electric hoist. The lower end of the column is fixed on the concrete foundation by anchor bolts. For the application of this kind of slewing bearing, it is necessary to add lubricating grease regularly according to the working environment to protect the raceway. The raceway should be filled with lubricating grease after 50 working hours for the first time, and then every 300 working hours after that. The slewing bearing must be filled with grease before and after being placed for a long time. Filling grease should be carried out under the condition of slow rotation of the slewing bearing. When the grease overflows from the seal, it means that the filling is completed.
