What is a KN95 Face Mask?
refers to a mask that conforms to the KN95 standard and follows the GB2626-2006 standard for respiratory protective equipment.
"KN95" is the standard of respiratory protective equipment promulgated by the National Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the National Standardization Management Committee, not a specific product name. The biggest feature of this type of mask is that it can prevent the spread of droplets caused by patients' body fluids or blood splashes.
How long can KN95 Masks be used?
At present, there is no clear conclusion on the optimal wearing time of N95 masks abroad, including WHO, and my country has not yet made relevant regulations on the use time of masks. However, some researchers conducted experiments and believed that the KN95 mask was worn for 2 days, and the filtration efficiency remained above 95%, and the respiratory resistance did not change much; the filtration efficiency was reduced to 94.7% after wearing for 3 days.
In this regard, the suggestions given by the relevant researchers are: in the absence of the epidemic, the KN95 standard mask can be used for 3 days, and if there is an epidemic in the user area, it is recommended to replace it every 4 hours; if there is an epidemic In areas or densely populated areas, if the person facing you sneezes or coughs while wearing the KN95 mask, it is all contaminated. You need to change the mask at any time.
The wide use of masks?
Used for breathing protection of certain particulate matter, such as dust generated by grinding, cleaning and processing of minerals, flour and certain other materials. It is also suitable for liquid or non-oily non-hazardous volatile gases generated by spraying particulates. Can effectively filter and purify the inhaled abnormal odours (except toxic gases). How to wear and remove face masks?

Holding the kn95 mask loops, ties, or bands, discard the mask by placing it in a covered trash bin.
After removing the mask, wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer.
