Horse Chestnut Extract
Horse Chestnut Extract:Horse Chestnut First found growing naturally in regions of Asia and north Greece, today the horse chestnut tree is cultivated in many areas of Europe and North America. Many of the parts of the horse chestnut tree, including the seeds, leaves, and bark, have been used medicinally. Aescin has been shown to promote circulation through the veins. Aescin fosters normal tone in the walls of the veins, thereby promoting return of blood to the heart. This has made both topical and internal horse chestnut extracts popular in Europe for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and, to a lesser extent, varicose veins. Aescin also possesses anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to reduce edema (swelling with fluid) following trauma, particularly following sports injury, surgery, and head injury.Horse Chestnut Extract has efficacy of antiinflammation and detumescence;it used to cure blood circ-lation disorder and rheumatism;Aesculus chinensis extract can be used in cosmetic products, because it has efficacy of inflammatory skin resistance.Horse chestnut is an astringent, antiinflammatory herb that helps to tone the vein walls which, when slack or distended, may become varicose, haemorrhoidal or otherwise problematic. The plant also reduces fluid retentionby increasing the permeability of the capillaries and allowing the reabsorption of excess fluid back into the circulatory system.Horse Chestnut Extract has efficacy of antiinflammation and detumescence;it used to cure blood circulation disorder and rheumatism;Aesculus chinensis extract can be used in cosmetic products, because it has efficacyof inflammatory skin resistance.Horse chestnut is an astringent, antiinflammatory herb that helps to tone the vein walls which, when slack or distended, may become varicose, haemorrhoidal or otherwise problematic. Alpha-escin and beta-escin are two isomers of Aescin. Although two melting point, optical rotation, hemolytic index and water solubility of two Aescin are not the same, they are not much different effect. Such years of pharmacological research and clinical application, which proved that Aescinate applied to play an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation role and keep moisturizing. In terms of relative sodium aescinate, aescin has a great significant treatment effect on the human body and few side effects. It can replace sodium aescinate in cosmetics and medicines.Basic Information:Product Name:Horse Chestnut ExtractOther Name: Horse Chestnut Extract Powder,Horse Chestnut P.E.,Horse Chestnut Powder,Aescin,Aesculus Hippocastanum ExtractLatin Name: Aesculus chinesis Bge.Part Used: SeedExtration Solvent: Ethanol & WaterActive Ingredient:Escin/Aescin 20%-60%Test Method: HPLC/ UVCAS No.:6805-41-0Molecular Formula:C55H86O24Molecular Weight: 1131.26 Product Specifications:Description :AppearanceLight Brown fine powder OdorCharacteristicParticle size100% pass 80 meshPhysical :Loss on drying≤5.00%Ashes≤5.00%Chemical :Solvent residual(Ethanol)<5000ppmHeavy metals<10ppmArsenic (As)<1ppmLead(Pb)<1ppmMicrobial :Total microbacterial count≤NMT1,000cfu/gTotal Yeast & Mold≤NMT100cfu/gSalmonellaNegativeE.ColiNegativePackagingPacked in paper-drums with two plastic-bags inside.N.W.:25kgs .I.D.35cm×H51cmStorageStore in a well-closed container away from moisture. In France, an oil extracted from the horse chestnut seeds has been used externally for rheumatism. For painful cramps in the legs at night recommended dosage is 20 drops or more of a standardized horse chestnut preparation at night.Applications:1.As raw material of antiedema, relieving pain, easing the pressure, it is widely used in pharmaceutical field; 2.
