The Automotive Seat Frame Durability Tester is a precision testing system designed to evaluate the impact strength and energy absorption performance of car seat frames and headrests. It simulates collision and deceleration conditions to ensure seats meet national and international safety standards. The tester is widely used by automotive OEMs, seat manufacturers, and safety testing laboratories for performance verification, quality control, and R&D applications.
2. Product Features
Simulates vehicle collision or deceleration with adjustable impact speeds between 25–30 km/h.
Impact head designed to replicate passenger head characteristics, typically 165 mm in diameter with an equivalent mass of 6.8 kg.
High measurement accuracy: impact velocity ±1%, acceleration ±3% for reliable and repeatable results.
Adjustable impact arm in Z-direction and angle to accommodate different seat types and simulate collisions at various angles.
Equipped with high-speed data acquisition system to record impact speed, acceleration, deceleration, and other parameters in real time.
Advanced data processing capabilities allow analysis and generation of accurate test reports.
Safety features include emergency stop, protective netting, and mechanical safeguards to ensure operator and equipment safety.

GB 11550-2009 – Performance requirements and test methods for car seat headrest, including energy absorption tests (Appendix B).
GB 15083-2006 – Automobile seats, seat fixtures, and headrest strength requirements and test methods, including seat energy absorption tests (Appendix C).
ECE R21, R17, R80 – EC regulations governing the strength and safety of car seats and components, including impact strength testing.
