A permanent magnet motor is a type of electric motor that uses permanent magnets for the field excitation and a wound armature. There are two types of PM motors, permanent magnet DC motors( powered by direct current) and permanent-magnet synchronous motors (powered by alternating current). Our industrial ceiling fan uses permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSM).
Compared with traditional gearbox motor, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has lots of great advantages, such as small size, steady structure, high efficiency, long-life, low noise, free maintenance and wide rang of speeds.
With PMSM technology, the motor temperature increases only 15-20 ℃ after a long time operating. It makes long-life steady operating available.
