AlNiCo disc magnets are a type of permanent magnet made from an alloy of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt, along with other trace elements. AlNiCo disc magnets have a disc or cylindrical shape with a flat circular face and are typically magnetized through the thickness or diameter. They come in a range of sizes and magnetic strengths, from small ones that can fit on the tip of a finger to larger ones that can hold several kilograms of weight.
One of the unique properties of AlNiCo disc magnets is that they have a high Curie temperature, which means they can maintain their magnetic properties at high temperatures. This makes them useful in high-temperature applications where other types of magnets, such as neodymium magnets, may lose their magnetism.
