Compostable Side Gusset Bag Features
Our compostable side gusset bags are made from NatureFlex™, certified compostable materials sourced sustainably from wood pulp. The paper for the outside layer of NatureFlex™ home compostable pouches is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper and so is responsibly sourced from environmentally managed forests. When composted, the side gusset bags also enhances soil quality. Our compostable side gusset bags are a great alternative to plastic packaging without the compromising the performance.
The compostable barrier layer in the side gusset pouchesalso brings the benefit of optimal protection against aroma loss of your goods! All of the materials and components of side gusset pouchincluding the zips and valves are certified home compostable, meaning you do not need to remove zips and valves to compost.
Pouches with side-gussets that form a stable block bottom for a better shelving presentation. We offer customisation service to make your side gussets pouches to meet your required sizes, colours, prints, achieve great shelf impact and communicate brand’s values. Oxygen Barrier: Oxygen transmission rate (OTR) ≦ 1.0 (cm3/m2.24hrs) (OTR of PLA pouches≦ 1800)
Moisture Barrier: Water transmission rate (WTR) ≦ 10 (g/m2.24hrs) (WTR of PLA pouches ≦ 20)
Optional Features: Compostable valves/ziplock/window
