The inductive probe creates an alternating field when the oscillator. When metal target enters the field, the eddy current induced in the metal target, which will cause blocking of oscillator, or small oscillation. And the signal will be shaped, amplified and converted to electrical signal, which will drive the switch tube on and cut-off to realize the detection.It will create signal when the object approach the proximity switch without external force. Avoid hitting, knocking and falling off during the transportation and using period. Use the insulating transformer, not the auto-transformer.2. And the object thickness should be no less than 1mm and the size should be no less than the square of the inductive probe outer diameter. The installation air gap is 1-1.5mm. Please follow below drawing for minimum air gap when install towards the metal or on the metal object.The sensor mounted must be over 15mm air gap from the metal parts.Sensor is immersed in the metal, the air gap from sensor to the metal wall must be over 10mm.The mounted sensor each other must have an air gap that is over 15 mm.
