The RBEFC RBmag® electromagnetic converter
There are two major factors for the converter to work with the mag. sensor: the excitation current and the resistance of the sensor coil. As long as these two factors are suitable, the converter can fit any mag. sensor made by various manufacturers. To fulfill this, a PWM current excitation technique is implemented to excite the coils ranging from 5 Ohms to 120 Ohms. The constant current can be set to 100mA, 125mA, 200mA, 250mA, 375mA, and up to 500mA to suit most commonly used signal level.

- Full-digital processing, high noise resistance and reliable measurement
- Low EMI switching power supply, providing wide mains range adaptability, high efficiency and low temperature rising;
- User-friendly operation interface with high definition LCD display with backlight;
- Forward and reverse measurement with three independent 10-digit totalizer: forward, reverse and net totalizer, convenient for metering or billing;
- Intelligent empty pipe detection and electrodes resistance measurement diagnosing empty pipe and electrodes contamination accurately;
- Isolated RS485/RS232C communication interface supporting MODBUS, PROFIBUS-DP,GPRS and HART;
- Extra functions available: power-off recording and compensation, flow data logging;
- High-frequency slurry-type electromagnetic flow meter converter;
- Electromagnetic flow meter converter installation type: Compact and Remote;
Application:
- Together with the mag. sensor to form an electromagnetic flow meter to provide accurate and reliable flow measurement;
- Fit most sensors from different brands on the market, such as ABB, E+H, KROHNE, ROSEMOUNT, etc.;
- Replace the broken converters.
